“There’s gold in them there hills!” Miner Mania is coming to Wild Rose Bible Camp as The Dawson Diggers and The Paystreak Panners stampede in a rush to strike the motherlode!
Klondike fever has hit.
Gather your grubstake and along with a few other fellow prospectors, head out for a week of zany fun, good grub, new and familiar friendship, and godly challenge.
Hang out over snow cones from everyone’s favourite watering hole, the Snack Shack. Join in the friendly competition to be the team to mine the most ore.
Strike it rich, just like hitting pay dirt on Bonanza Creek, by digging into a study of Colossians during God and I Time and daily Morning Chapels.
Be exhorted with more from God’s Word in Christian Life Seminar and Evening Services. Like the challenging but rewarding climb up Chilkoot Pass and over to the gold fields of Dawson Creek, be challenged to take your next step in growing up in the rich grace of Christ.
This summer we are again offering our CHAMPS leadership training program! It is geared for more mature high schoolers who want to grow in their personal discipleship and servant leadership.

Our focus is helping you grow in knowing God better, loving Him more, and serving His people.
If accepted into the CHAMPS program, you will attend Teen Camp as a camper. In addition to the regular Teen Camp services and activities, you will attend extra training sessions with our CHAMP’s staff.

Over the weekend in between camps, you will stay on the campsite. On Saturday you will work around the camp. In the evening you will participate in a fantastic activity with the other CHAMP’ers. On Sunday you will minister in a local church in southern Alberta.

The second week, Junior Camp, you will continue your leadership training, but you will also serve as a junior counselor (assisting one of our regular counselors) or as an operations staff member. This combination of learning and doing will be essential in your servant leadership development.

To be considered for the CHAMPS program, you must be recommended by your pastor and one other spiritual leader (such as your Youth Pastor, Youth Pastor's wife, or Sunday school teacher). We will request their recommendations once you have submitted your application, but please check with them first to ensure they are willing to be a reference for you. Please note, you may not use a relative as a recommendation. If your pastor is your father, then use another church leader in place of him.

The deadline to apply for CHAMPS is Jul 7. We will let you know by July 14 if you have been accepted into the program for this year, so that you know how to plan your summer. Space is limited, so get your application in as soon as possible.

The cost for the CHAMPS program is $415. However, you will only pay the regular Teen Camp fee at the time of registration. Once accepted into the CHAMPS program, you will receive a confirmation email with the updated cost and payment instructions. The remaining balance can be paid by cheque upon arrival at camp or online via PayPal.
Any questions about the program can be directed to our CHAMPS director, Pastor Michael, at pastormichael@foundationbaptistchurch.com.
